For the 29th time CAD+T invited customers and interested parties to their annual customer meeting in Salzburg to showcase the latest news of CAD+T products, to network with others from the industry, to listen to interesting expert discussions and to participate in the CAD+T workshops. The participants also had the chance to meet there other partners of CAD+T (like Blum, Autodesk, Felder, SCM, etc…) as well as the CAD+T team.

The interest this year was greater than ever! CAD+T welcomed more than 300 participants from the woodworking industry from over 12 different countries.

The CAD+T customer meeting 2019 opened with the presentation of the newest features and developments of the different CAD+T modules – from Planning to the CAM Interface. One of the highlights was the presentation of the “Configurator Professional”, a new product of CAD+T. This cloud-based system is the perfect combination of an online configurator with state-of-the-art customization even for a batch size 1 production.

The next topic was a review of the Talent Camp 2019 with this year’s winner René Gerweler from the Beckum Technical School in Germany, which was followed by the interesting speech of Claus Müller from Autodesk who presented an outlook on the future of technology development.

“The complete solution from CAD+T convinced us.” with this statement existing CAD+T customers (from Austria, Germany and Switzerland,..) started afterwards their presentations and showed how they implemented CAD+T successfully in their company. Companies such as the carpentry company Wälchli from Switzerland, the carpentry company Listberger from Neumarkt (Austria), the X-Tec GmbH from St. Margarethen an der Raab (Austria) and Formatio Einrichtungen GmbH from Lemgo (Germany) as well as the HTL School Hallstatt opened their doors and provided exclusive insights how CAD+T helps them in their everyday business.

Several schools from all around Austria and Germany (HTL Hallstatt, the HTL Villach, the Felbertal Werkschulheim, the Beckum Vocational College and the Philipp-Holzmann-School) also took the opportunity to present themselves at the event, to make new contacts in the woodworking industry for the future and to participate in the special student workshops.

A very important and big part of the CAD+T Customer meeting are the specialized workshops which are offered to all the participants. The topics this year included planning & visualization, construction, as well as CAM interface and Industry 4.0., as well as special workshops for executive managers focusing on future trends and best practice examples.

The Gala Dinner and the award ceremony of the rendering competition completed the program of the first day. The CAD+T trophy for the best rendering was awarded to Sabrina Walcher from Martin Tritscher Tischlerei GmbH.

The following day was dominated by the workshops which gave the participants the possibility to expand their knowledge and to learn firsthand the newest features.

The mission and purpose of this yearly event is to show visions and trends of the future of the coming years and to be networking platform for all CAD+T participants. We would like to thank everybody for joining us during these 2 days and are looking forward to another interesting event together which will take place next year together with the 30th anniversary celebration of the company!

Save the Date! 30 years CAD+T – September 2020!
