Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies CAD+T Solutions GmbH uses on this website, for what purposes and for how long. We describe the data processing in detail in the Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device when you visit a website. The browser’s local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage) work in a similar way. The following applies to all of these technologies: anything that is not strictly necessary for the operation of the website is stored only with your consent (Section 165(3) TKG 2021; for visitors from Germany, Section 25 TDDDG).

How we ask

On your first visit, a notice asks which categories you consent to. “Accept all” and “Necessary only” are presented side by side with equal prominence; under “Settings” you can select Statistics and Marketing individually. Services in these two categories load only after you have given your consent – before that, the website does not establish any connection to Google or Leadinfo (Google Consent Mode v2 in “Basic” mode).

Necessary (always on)

The website does not work without these entries. They remain in your browser and are not passed on to anyone.

  • cadt-cookie-consent (local storage, CAD+T): your choice in the cookie notice and the time at which you made it – until you change it or clear your browser storage
  • theme (local storage, CAD+T): light or dark display mode – until you clear your browser storage
  • banner-dismissed-… (session storage, CAD+T): the fact that you have closed a notice – until you close the browser

Statistics (only with consent)

Shows us which pages are used and how, so that we can improve the website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Dublin; a transfer to the USA is possible (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

  • _ga (cookie, Google Analytics 4): random identifier used to distinguish visits – 2 years
  • _ga_SZY6KMJFV3 (cookie, Google Analytics 4): state of the current session – 2 years
  • Google Tag Manager: loads the Google services, does not set any cookies itself; loaded with Statistics or Marketing

Marketing (only with consent)

Measures the success of our Google ads, enables remarketing and identifies which companies visit us. The providers are Google Ireland Limited, Dublin (transfer to the USA possible, EU-US Data Privacy Framework), and Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam.

  • _gcl_au (cookie, Google Ads): conversion measurement – 90 days
  • _gcl_aw (cookie, Google Ads): click ID if you arrive via an ad – 90 days
  • Cookies on Google domains such as doubleclick.net (Google Ads): advertising and remarketing – lifetime as specified by Google
  • _li_id (cookie, Leadinfo): recognises returning visits – 2 years
  • _li_ses (cookie, Leadinfo): current session – for the duration of the visit

Changing your settings

Via the “Cookie Settings” link at the bottom of every page, you can reopen the notice at any time, see your current choice and change it. If you withdraw consent, we delete the cookies of the services concerned on our domain and reload the page. You can delete cookies that Google has set on its own domains, and all other entries, in your browser settings.
