Frequently asked questions
Is the consulting tied to CAD+T software?
No. The advice is independent of any system: processes, data structures and organisation are looked at regardless of which software is in the house. What comes out of it we then implement together with you.
Who advises – software people or management consultants?
Joiners advise joiners: we know your processes and can work out where the problem sits. Our team has been in the industry since 1990, and the advice comes from people who know manufacturing, work preparation and order processing from practice.
We need a quality management system for an ISO certification. Does that start from nothing?
Only if nothing exists. In most businesses the procedures are well established but not documented – then they are captured and structured rather than reinvented. That is exactly what a standard such as ISO 9001 asks for: processes you can trace. We assist with building the management system, with the records and during the audit. And we do not just assist with it: CAD+T is itself certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 21001.
Can you help us with funding?
Yes, that is a field of its own: advice on current national and international programmes, analysis of whether your project is eligible, preparation of the documents and assistance throughout. Whether a project is eligible is decided by the awarding body – we check it beforehand.
What does consulting cost?
That depends on the field and the scope. The first conversation carries no obligation; after that the effort is agreed with you before any work starts.
Where does consulting end and Service+ begin?
Consulting looks at processes and organisation. Service+ works on the data itself – building master data, implementing data concepts, working alongside your draftsmen.
The answers give an overview – we are happy to clarify the details in person. Errors, changes and typos excepted.
